How long would it be before you move in?

It can be as quick as a few days, but usually the process takes between 5-7 weeks. Typically, delays in the rental process result from slow responses from employer and landlord references. To speed up the process, you can encourage them to respond quickly. However, the timeline may also depend on factors such as the need to wait for the current tenant to move out or to complete any necessary work on the property. Therefore, we encourage you to discuss these factors with us before submitting your application.

Are pets allowed?

The lease specifies that pets are not allowed, but some landlords may be open to the idea of having pets in the property if the tenant is willing to pay an increased rent. If you are interested in keeping pets, please let us know in advance (before the viewing), and we will contact the landlord to inquire.

• Previous landlord reference: These are used to confirm the tenant’s rental history, including their payment history, whether they caused any damage to the property, and whether they were good tenants overall.
• Employment references: These are typically used to confirm the tenant’s employment status, income, and length of employment.
• Credit check: There are to ensure you do not have bad debt or County Court Judgments (CCJs),, verify that you have a responsible track record with your finances
